Stepping Stones ABA Center is a small group dedicated to delivering quality services within the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Our team is highly trained. Each team member is required to remain current on the experimental and applied research relevant to the practice of ABA. We strongly emphasize topics about the ethical practice of ABA, and current treatments for Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
All therapists hold at least a Bachelor’s degree and have completed targeted training. Ongoing supervision is provided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Team members are expected to have a broad range of experience in the field of ABA practice. This practical experience broadens their knowledge, enabling them to design behavior treatments that are specifically tailored to each person.
We have regular review meetings to ensure the skills and behaviors identified for treatment services are being addressed. ABA therapy services are delivered where they are most needed. This may include at home, in the community, at school, or at the center when appropriate. Therapy is individualized to each child based on an initial assessment (that may include the ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, AFLS, etc.), and the plan is continually modified based on progress. This allows us to openly review our work, and provide solutions when gains are not happening as expected.
For those needing a higher level of service, a BCBA will provide the majority of treatment, so that ongoing assessments may be completed during regular treatment sessions. This improves treatment consistency, and permits rapid program progress when it is most needed.

Teaching Experience:
I have been tutoring peers and pupils in excess of 10 years. Teaching others is an activity I have naturally found to be rewarding, challenging and a lifelong pursuit. I have been helping others starting with my older brother's math homework in seventh grade, to getting friends through the AP Physics test, and finally, to this day, helping my mom with fractions while she bakes.
