    Female| Experience years : 7 | Institution Hrs : 4

I am a full-time online tutor with over 10 years of experience. I believe that when someone seeks a tutor, they are seeking not only knowledge, but also comprehensive guidance for their study. I focus my students on how to study as well as providing the knowledge and detail of their subject area. I write most of my own curriculum, and adapt my materials to individual needs.

I find passion in connecting with students, targeting their needs, and achieving their version of success. Every student is entirely unique and each teaching experience holds its own outcomes. My tutoring begins with the goals and hopes of the student. They establish their goals, and I write a lesson plan that will get them accomplished efficiently. I work with students current materials (notes, homework, or course materials) and also bring to the table my own tools and information to provide a well-rounded learning experience. I am always available to help with a quick math problem, or additional questions that come up in-between lessons. I specialize in standardized testing (ACT/SAT, TEAS/HESI, GED), as well as pre-nursing (TEAS/HESI, Program Applications, Biology, Microbiology, Anatomy/Physiology, Algebra, CNA/EMT Programs, and many others). I also teach Pre-Algebra/Algebra, Biology, English, Composition, Reading/Writing, and Elementary Education. I work with students in all levels of education from Kindergarten through college.

I believe tutoring can be an essential part of a student's education. Any student may excel at any subject given the right tools and guidance. My method of tutoring directly reflects this belief. The ultimate tutoring situation is one in which I can not only provide information to the students but also resources in which they may find their own information and become academically independent.
